2023 Mass Bee Field Day is Canceled.
Regrettably, due to staffing conflicts along with the planning demands of other bee-related activities Franklin County and the Massachusetts Beekeepers Association are not able to host this year's Field Day originally scheduled for June 17th at UMass Amherst.
Field Day 2023 is canceled.
We fully anticipate and look forward to Field Day 2024 at Umass next June.
Field Day is a fun-filled, outdoor learning session held at the 70-acre UMass Agricultural Learning Center “Living Classroom” in Amherst. Hands-on educational sessions covering topics for beginning, immediate and expert beekeepers. Major bee equipment suppliers such as Betterbee, Dadant, and Mann Lake exhibit as well as local vendors and artisans.
Franklin County Beekeepers Association has been the host of the Massachusetts Beekeepers Association’s annual Field Day since its inception in 2006.
